With Mother's Day around the corner, singer-songwriter Elizabeth Chada felt the best way to honour her late mother was through the dedication of a song. "I Miss Her" was written by Chada and recorded, mixed and mastered by Adam Newcomb. The emotional ballad was one that took courage to sing in studio. Elizabeth recalls, "It’s been 16 years and it still hurts every day, but it’s just a little harder when May comes around each year. I wrote a song for my mother a while back; it was just me and my piano and a flood of memories and emotions. When I wrote the song, I thought - I can’t be the only one who feels this way around Mother’s Day. It was hard being in studio recently to record the song but I knew I needed to honour her memory, and doing it through music is the best way I know how."
The song was released digitally on May 6, 2022 and can be found across all online stores and streaming services.
